Relax and enjoy a customized boat tour with Ambasador Boat Adventure. We offer a one-day trip to the Bay of Kotor, also known as Boka Kotorska. It is one of the striking and stunning landscapes of the Mediterranean surrounded by mountains up to 1700 meters.
Starting from Tivat and continuing to “Gospa od Škrpjela” – one of the two small islands in the Peraštan coast. In fact, the island was built artificially from a rampart of rocks and crowned with a Catholic church on top. According to legend, the island was created centuries ago by local sailors who kept an ancient oath after finding an icon of the Virgin and Child on a rock in the sea. Here you can explore the island and its area in about 30 minutes.
Immediately after the first stop, you can take some time to discover the beauty of Perast. An old town located in the natural and cultural-historical region of the UNESCO World Heritage of the Bay of Kotor. There you can explore the old baroque sites or have a coffee in one of the wonderful restaurants and cafes along the coast.
Going for a swim on the way to the Blue Cave – a natural sea cave that got its name from the unique effect of blue light, which is created by the reflection of sunlight from the white sandy bottom through the crystal blue water.
To get to the Blue Cave, you leave the Bay of Kotor and go to the open sea.
At the entrance to the Bay of Kotor is another small island called Mamula. His heart is an old fortress on him.
Indeed, 90 percent of the island is covered by fortifications and has been used in various ways in the past. Therefore, the main function used to be the protection of the coast from possible attacks, for example those coming from the Adriatic Sea.
On the way back to Tivat, there is a possibility to visit one of the three undersea tunnels built by the Yugoslav Army, as well as the small fishing village of Rose. Rose is home to one of the oldest ports in the Bay of Kotor and the entire Montenegrin coast and is known as one of the most beautiful villages on the Riviera. During the trip you are surrounded by stunning mountains and you will have a panoramic view of places like Herceg Novi, Kumbor or Igalo. And with a bit of luck you might even see Dolphins.
