Old town of Bar – At the foot of mountain Rumija, on a steep ridge inaccessible on three sides, is the old town of Bar. Its origin dates back to the time of the arrival of the Slavs in the Balkan peninsula. In the old town of Bar, besides souvenir shops and cafes, you will have the opportunity to visit: the church of St. Jovan, a customs building with a museum exhibition, a Turkish bath, a gunpowder, a Clock tower from 1753, a citadel, an aqueduct from the 18th century, and many other cultural and historical monuments. After a tour of the old town of Bar, our next stop is to visit the oldest olive tree in Europe. Her age is estimated at over two thousand years. This remarkable natural monument was placed under state protection in 1957. After visiting the old lady which remembers much more than our history, we continue our journey to Ulcinj. Ulcinj is located in the south of the Adriatic coast and is the same latitude as Barcelona and Rome. complex (this is a church-mosque turned into a museum where archaeological sites are exhibited), an ethnological
museum with a rich collection of exhibits, the foundations of the church of St. Marija / St. Marko, a cistern built during the Venetian rule, the Turkish gunpowder, the palace of Venice, palace of Balšići … After a visit to the old town of Ulcinj you will have free time for lunch, swimming and enjoying on the little beach located between cape Nuradin’s ponte and cape Ratislava below the old town.The beach is 600 m long and 25 meters wide.
Petrovac is a small town on the Adriatic coast. The long beach and warm water are ideal for enjoying the sun, while the promenada is surrounded by traditional stone houses, restaurants and boutiques.
