Plužine is a town in northwestern Montenegro. According to the 2011 census, it has 1,341 inhabitants. Plužine is the center of the municipality of Plužine and the unofficial center of the Piva region, which was named after the Piva river. The town is located near the border crossing with Bosnia and Herzegovina (Herzegovina region) for the town of Gacko (Republika Srpska). Located on the shore of Lake Piva, Plužine is a town with beautiful nature and surroundings.
