Cetinje is the historical and current capital of Montenegro (the capital of Montenegro is Podgorica). The city is located in the eastern karst field, which is located in the southern part of the republic, at the foot of the Lovćen mountains, at an average sea level of 670 m. According to the 2011 census, it has 13,918 inhabitants. Due to its authentic architecture and a large number of historical buildings, relics, monasteries, churches and museums, this city was named “city-museum”.
