Halfway between Kotor and Herceg Novi, in Boka Kotorska, there is a small town of Morinj. Morinj has been known since ancient times for the mills where olives and cereals were ground. But time took its toll, so the Morinj mills, as well as old customs, suffered the same fate – oblivion. From one mill and a family house, which have been owned by the Ćatović family for more than 200 years, Lazar Ćatović 20 years ago, with a lot of work and love, made a superb tavern. What sets ĆATOVIĆ MLINE apart from the others is Lazar’s idea to preserve the harmonious whole that the locals and nature created together. That is why he conducted all the works around the tavern respecting local tradition and culture and carefully choosing details. Thanks to his vision, the mill lives on.
