Bečići is a town in the municipality of Budva in Montenegro. According to the 2003 census, there were 771 inhabitants (according to the 1991 census, there were 726 inhabitants). It is located north of Budva. Bečići has a long beach of 1950 m, which is among the most beautiful in Montenegro and the southern Adriatic. In 1935, the beach received the Grand Prix in Paris for the most beautiful beach in Europe. A lot of money has been invested in Bečić in recent years, the most significant investment being the construction of the Splendid hotel, which cost 70 million euros. Also, other large hotels have been renovated.
